We remain busy as our volunteers provided over 63 hours of service in January. We so often hear words of gratitude from individuals dealing with chronic health issues or preparing for planned surgeries. At the same time, we are still surprised by how many people in our community have not heard about us—even though we have been providing free medical equipment for over 12 years. Please help us spread the word! We have brochures and flyers available for you to share throughout the community.
During January, 49 individuals came for medical equipment and/or disposable supplies, and we distributed more than 1,300 disposable incontinence items.
Throughout 2025, we loaned the following equipment:
- 15 hospital beds (with mattresses and side rails)
- 41 elevated commode seats
- 7 Hoyer lifts
- 47 canes (including quad and hemi-walkers)
- 43 shower benches
- 62 shower seats
- 17 knee scooters
- 62 rollators
- 119 walkers
- 88 wheelchairs
- 28 transport chairs
- 6 lift recliners
- 6 motorized wheelchairs
In addition, we offer a variety of other adaptive equipment. We encourage you to stop by and see what is available, or recommend this service to anyone you know who may need assistive devices or disposable medical supplies for wound care, ostomy needs, catheter supplies, or orthopedic support.
We also have blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, pill organizers, cushions, nutritional drinks, and supplements—the list truly goes on and on!
Come check us out. You may even consider volunteering. We can always use extra hands for cleaning and organizing, as well as assisting those who come seeking equipment and supplies.
