Advent Greetings!

Many of you know about the wonderful ministry that has been serving Harrisonburg, VA since the mid-1980s. Through the faithful support of our churches, you have continued to generously bless Kingsway Prison and Family Outreach, and we are deeply grateful.

Each Christmas season, Kingsway focuses on two major outreach efforts:
Inmate Christmas and the Apple Tree Project, which provides gifts for children who have a parent who is incarcerated.

For many years, Kingsway has distributed over 6,000 gifts to inmates. Last year that number grew to 7,000, and this year we have taken on an additional 600, bringing our total to 7,600 gifts. Every inmate receives a simple but meaningful package: a tube of toothpaste, a chapstick, a mini legal pad, and a Christmas card. For many, these will be the only Christmas gifts they receive, and the impact is profound—your kindness brings real hope and encouragement.

Right now, our greatest need is toothpaste. As of yesterday, we are still about 2,000 tubes short of what is needed.

Can you help?
Would your group, Sunday School class, or congregation be willing to come together to help fill this gap? Your support would be such a blessing!

Thank you for all the ways you continue to shine Christ’s light into the lives of those who need it most.
