Mission Central combines the resources of the churches of the district to serve the families of the Shenandoah Valley. In two locations, Mission Central offers clothing for children and the lending of medical equipment.

Clothing Closet

The Children’s Clothes Closet is open:
2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
10:00AM – 1:00PM

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays of each month
5:00PM - 7:00PM

Open to anyone in the community.​

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to make Mission Central possible. We especially need volunteers who are bilingual.
In addition to hours that Mission Central is open, volunteers work each Wednesday 10:00AM - 1:00PM.

Donate Items

Children’s clothes including winter coats.
Sizes for infant to 15 years old.
Clean children’s shoes, socks, undergarments.
Disposable diapers – all sizes.

If you have items to donate and cannot bring them to the Clothing Closet, please call 540-929-1688.

Someone will come and pick up the items.

Hours

The Medical Equipment Loaner Closet is open:
Mondays | 5:00PM - 7:00PM
Thursdays | 9:00AM - 11:00AM

Open to anyone in the community.

Donate Items

Durable Medical Equipment
including hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, etc.

Disposable Supplies
Including adult diapers, briefs, and wound care.

If you have items to donate and cannot bring them to Equipment for Caring, please call Delores Reid at 540-404-1159.

Someone will come and pick up the items.​
